Commercial Lines Account Manager I

Commercial Lines Account Managers help build and foster client relationships in support of Risk Advisor’s efforts to retain accounts. An unwavering commitment to high-quality customer service is a commonly found trait amongst our Commercial Account Managers. A Commercial Lines Account Manager has in-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and is able to give sound advice to a wide range of clientele.

Essential Functions of this role

  • Maintain client files with excellent documentation and organization of data
  • Provide quality internal customer service to peers by maintaining relationships, managing expectations and professional communication that is friendly, timely and clear
  • Analyze coverages associated with client insurance policies to ensure needs are met
  • Manage policies by applying knowledge, solving problems and communicating
  • Provide quality external customer service (clients and insurance carriers) by maintaining relationships, managing expectations, and professional communication that is friendly, timely and clear

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Independent Agency system and familiarity with Commercial Lines operations
  • Current Property and Casualty license
  • Experience with Applied Epic preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
