Commercial Estimator Jobs

We are one of Southern California's up and coming commercial general contractors working on some of the most exciting market ready and tenant improvement projects around. We are looking for a Estimator with tenant improvement experience!
What You Will Be Doing

• Compile estimates, rough order of magnitude budgets, cost-benefit analysis, constructability reviews,
• Draft bid scopes of work and final buy-out scopes of work.
• Examine drawings and specifications for job requirements, quantity takeoff and pricing.

and engage in value analysis.

• Work collaboratively with project team to ensure positive results.
• Utilize On-Screen Take Off, Excel, Building Connected, Procore, Bluebeam, and all other estimating

systems utilized by the company.

• Ensure timely completion of multiple deliverables, and proactively address difficult situations a positive

cooperative manner.

• Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data.
• Acquire understanding of the requirements of the project/program at hand.
• Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties
• Verify vendor and subcontractor estimates fall within the defined scope.
• Analyze data and produce forecasts.

What You Need for this Position

• Proven experience as construction estimator.
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in general construction.
• BSc/BA in engineering, construction science or related field of study preferred.
• Proficient with On-Screen Take Off, Excel, Building Connected, Procore, Bluebeam, and or other

estimating systems.

• You must have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Have a complete understanding of pricing, and proposal procedures, and execute accordingly.

What's In It for You

• Base salary of $100k-$130k DOE
