Commercial Electrical Helper Jobs

Job Summary:

The Commercial Electrical Helper assists with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
• Perform duties assigned by the project foreman or leader in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Assists with the installation of various electrical system, both indoor and outdoor.
• Install and bend EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Some knowledge of powerline installation and repair of electrical systems.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Education and Experience:

• Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test.
• Previous commercial electrical experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job sites throughout the Orlando area.
