Job Summary / Overview:
This is a Senior Level Technician position.
Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic.
Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
Specific Job Duties:
- Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
- Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and develops scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
- Teamwork and Communication: Leads/Trains a team that owns a 10-20 CMP tools. Able to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
- Work inside a fab environment, wearing a fab suit for entire shift.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Improves and Develops standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively.
- 3-5- years 300mm CMP equipment technician experience (Ebara or AMAT) or 5+ years Semiconductor Technician.
- Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
- Skilled in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Electro-mechanical aptitude; complete understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes also required.
- Fluent with SPC methods and implementation.
- Must be able to explain how to execute significant corrective maintenance activities.
- High level of initiative and desire to learn.
- Ability to meet due dates for action items.
- Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
- Familiar with TPM concepts.
- Reliable and punctual attendance required.
- Work off-hours if necessary.
- CMP 300mm experience required.
