Automotive Maintenance Technician serving WMATA/MetroAccess

• The shift is 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM Tue- Sat (must be open and willing to accept other shifts as it is based on seniority per CBA)

Automotive Technician Major Responsibilities:

• Assist in accurately diagnosing and performing mechanical repairs
• Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
• Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.

Automotive Technician Mechanic Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
• 3 years of automotive maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of education & experience.
• Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
• ASE certifications are preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!)
