Clips And Clearances Associate Producer

TMZ Live is seeking a Clips & Clearances Associate Producer to join our Clearance department. On a daily basis, you must be able to provide continual support in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who is adept at obtaining permissions for photo/video use on web and TV platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the taping of TMZ Live and staying in touch with team members about clearance and photo related items. Applicants must have a sharp eye for pop culture news and be comfortable communicating with photo/video distribution companies to secure assets for production.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and communicate with all TMZ team members
• Assist the TMZ Live department with daily tasks
• Develop contacts, cultivate sources, and maintain relationships to aid in securing future assets
• Handle all assets for a daily show and maintain a weekly budget

Requirements:

• Ability to negotiate and execute licenses and other contracts
• Ability to think quickly, problem solve and have exceptional organizational skills
• Knowledge of photo/video storage systems such as Reach and Dalet, a plus
• Strong telephone/communication skills
• Ability to anticipate show needs, meet deadlines and be a positive team member.
• Knowledge of entertainment, celebrity news, pop culture & current events

“Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $20.00 per hour. This position is regularly scheduled for a 50-hour work week but scheduled overtime hours are not guaranteed”.
