Clinical Supervisor


$15,000 Sign on Bonus!


Location: Sauk Rapids, MN


Reporting directly to the Treatment Director, this position is responsible for individual staff development and training of counselors, ADC trainees, and Student Interns. This position includes direct client care not limited to assessments, groups, education, and case management.


Job Duties


  • Audits charts for compliance including the signing off on all ADC Trainees and student interns progress notes, reviews, treatment plans, transfers and service termination documents
  • Determine need for discharge of clients per policies of program and give appropriate direction to staff members to carry out directive
  • Ensures that the treatment program provides quality clinical services.
  • Provides oversight with the screening and interviewing clients for appropriateness of admission to program
  • May provide supervision and oversight to ADC-Trainee and alcohol and drug counseling interns.
  • Monitoring the adherence of site policies and procedures while providing coaching for continued quality improvement.
  • Provide supervision to counseling staff and assistance with case management of clients admitted to the program
  • Lead weekly supervision meetings and assure that meetings are documented.
  • The Counselor Supervisor may admit or transfer clients. Discharges are directed by the process outlined in the service termination policy.


Job Requirements


  • The individual will be an alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) either licensed or exempt from licensure under Minnesota Statutes.
  • A minimum of two year freedom from chemical use problems.
  • The individual has three (3) or more years of experience providing individual and group counseling to chemically dependent clients.
