Position Title:
Education Solutions Supervisor Summary:
Assist the Manager of Education Services in program development, implementation, and coordination of education services for Region V school districts. Provide supervision for assigned staff.:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist the Manager of Education Services (MES) in Program Development.
- Assist in the development of educational programming with leading educational researchers, universities, Minnesota Department of Education, Institutions of Higher Education, and other professional organizations as directed by the MES.
- Analyze data trends of educational needs, program effectiveness, and services related to member schools as potential options for program development, grant writing, and continuous improvement planning
- Research and develop programs that have been recommended by MES or member schools through analyzing needs.
- Assist in the research of educational programming based on current, evidence-based practices in the field and the needs of member schools as well as future needs in program planning as directed by the MES.
2. Program Coordination.
- Coordinate programming for regional schools provided by assigned staff.
- Work closely with District Strategy Partners and other departmental supervisors to ensure collaboration and alignment of departmental programs for cohesive service to regional schools.
3. Leadership
- Attend meetings, in the absence of and/or as directed by the MES, including but not limited to, district leadership and agencies at the national, state, and/or local level that connect to development of programs that have been identified through a needs assessment.
- Participates as a member of the departmental leadership team, supporting departmental strategy and planning.
4. Leads and directs assigned staff
- Provides coaching and feedback to assigned staff; Provides regular progress reports to Manager of Education Services
- Functions as a role model
- Coordinates work schedules to ensure proper coverages
- Facilitates team meetings with assigned staff
- Provides project management for day to day operations
- Leads the performance evaluation of assigned staff, including non-tenured teacher evaluations
- Provides job-embedded training for staff necessary for effective program implementation.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures; correcting errors or problems
- Coordinates work activities of assigned staff; organizes and prioritizes projects and workload; effectively delegates and monitors work
- Approves time off, reimbursable expenses, and changes to work schedule
- Directs the work of others within their assigned group
5. Other duties as assigned.
Additional :
Required Qualifications
- Experience with program development and management
- Valid MN Driver’s License
- Experience in leadership
- Minimum ten years of experience in the field of education
- Bachelor’s Degree in education
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Minnesota teaching license
- Two years of experience in leading or supervising teams
- Expertise and/or experience in group facilitation and adult learning
- Background/experience in educational technology integration
- Background/experience in high school career pathways or Career and Technical Education
- Master’s degree in elementary or secondary education
2.0 FTE's. Positions open until filled.
Salary Range: Grade 14, $94,201.44 - $131,882.02, commensurate with experience.

This is a remote or hybrid position within Minnesota, and is subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures. Applicants should be located near or in the counties we serve (Region 5) and be able to commute to the office and throughout the region at least 2-3 days a week for meetings and support.
