Saint Joseph Hospital is part of Intermountain Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 365-bed facility is one of the top-ranked hospitals in Denver, and has been awarded the highest national recognition possible for nursing excellence – Magnet designation – by the ANCC. We are proud to extend the mission of Intermountain Health by providing care for the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other. Our deep community roots date back to 1873, making us one of the oldest hospitals in Colorado. Our Center for Women & Infants at Saint Joseph Hospital was designed exclusively for new moms and babies. Every inch of this special floor is dedicated to the care, comfort and well-being of new mothers and infants. With 18 expansive labor and delivery rooms with large jetted tubs, a dedicated elevator that goes directly to the floor and 42 private rooms that serve as a home away from home after childbirth, Saint Joseph Hospital is a great place for families. Our Mom/Baby Postpartum and Antepartum RNs possess expertise in caring for babies post-birth, working together with our Labor & Delivery staff to help with the transition from Labor & Delivery to Recovery. We also have a Level III NICU on-site. We are proud to be a Baby Friendly Hospital and a private teaching hospital.
