Description
The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University invites applications for several different faculty positions. We seek candidates who will teach in the first-year curriculum and provide coverage for a wide range of upper-level courses, which may include, but are not limited to, family law, administrative law, business law, law and economics, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution, environmental law, torts, jurisprudence, advanced constitutional law, including free speech, and legal writing and methods. Both entry-level and lateral candidates will be considered.

Entry-level candidates
Required Qualifications
- Ability to teach a required first-year course
- A J.D., or its equivalent in an area related to the law school curriculum, and
Desired Qualifications
- Strong potential for future scholarly research or, in the case of clinical professors, potential for public outreach and leadership in field
Lateral Candidates
Required Qualifications
- Ability to teach a required first-year course.
- Experience as a tenured or tenure-track member of a law school faculty or analogous experience as clinical faculty, and
- A J.D., or its equivalent in an area related to the law school curriculum,
Desired Qualifications
- Strong potential for future scholarly research (or, in the case of clinical professors, potential for achievement in public outreach and leadership in field).
- A history of distinguished scholarly achievement commensurate with their years of experience (or, in the case of clinical professors, achievement in public outreach and leadership in field), and
