Clinical Assistant Professor Jobs

NYU College of Dentistry's International Programs is seeking a full time non-tenure track full time faculty position at the Clinical Assistant Professor level. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to: 1. Provide instructions in the pre-clinical and clinical courses for the Advanced Program for International Dentists in Comprehensive Dentistry; 2. Provide lectures in Didactic courses; 3. Provide Clinical demonstrations.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $74,000 - $124,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

The ideal candidate will have experience working or interacting with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds and have a commitment to inclusion and equity. In addition to having proficiency in Restorative Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Interdisciplinary Dentistry, the candidate must demonstrate a strong desire to teach students in a demanding, fast-paced academic environment.

Candidates must possess a D.D.S/D.M.D degree or international equivalent. Candidates must also be eligible for licensure in New York State or qualify to obtain a Restricted Dental Faculty License through the College of Dentistry.
