Clinical Assistant Responsibilities To Include


  • Assists with required OSHA safety checks
  • Confirm receipt of needed forms and completion of screeners
  • Obtain patient vital signs to include, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature in addition to height and weight. Accurately performs hearing and vision screenings
  • Cleans and sanitizes patient exam rooms and ensures they are properly stocked with clinical supplies
  • Verifies reason for patient visit.
  • Assists with the completion of patient vaccination records
  • Maintains supply inventory


Requirements


Qualifications:


  • Course work in health care (Preferred)
  • Organizational skills with ability to multi-task
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to speak, read and write effectively
  • Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines, in a detail-oriented manner
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Prior medical practice experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment
  • Desire to work with infants and children
  • Flexible scheduling availability required
