Summary, Primary Duties, Skills And Experience

Job Summary:

This experienced professional will be a critical member of the clinical affairs team and will support several clinical research studies and other customer clinical and scientific applications. This position is remote and must be fluent in clinical and scientific Spanish required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage project portfolio across clinical sites in multiple clinical studies.
• Support the efficient and optimal results supporting Bionano scientific strategy.
• Interact with partners to assure fluid processing of samples and data.
• Create and provide technical documentation appropriate for clinical applications.
• Work with support and field application scientists to implement technology and support customers/partners.
• Support input from clinical studies to development teams for key requirements and sample management.
• Communicate with customer and partners about Bionano technology.
• Analyze data and provide text, figures and other input for various publications.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with clinical cytogenetics or molecular genetics laboratories working under CLIA.
• Effective communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Fluency in clinical and scientific Spanish required, Portuguese a plus, for support of LATAM sites.
• Experience with clinical trials or studies relating to genomics.
• Experience working with technical teams.
• Proven ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
• Able to work independently and is self-motivated.
• Experience with sharing information via tools like SharePoint, Wiki, JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of time, including internationally.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• PhD degree in molecular biology or human genetics.
• At least 4 years post graduate work in clinical genomics (research and/or diagnostics).
