Summary:

As the Client Relationship Manager (CRM), you are responsible for all strategic planning, account retention activity and for the overall success of Bamboo Health’s relationship with assigned state government client accounts. Success will be measured by strategic and tactical account leadership and oversight of all account activity including opportunities for revenue growth. The primary focus of the role is to develop relationships with state government decision makers and primary contacts within the existing client base to successfully meet commitments and continue to expand Bamboo Health’s solutions. The Client Relationship Manager also works closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Government Affairs, Legal, Implementation and Technical Support teams to execute on contract terms and to ensure that we are successfully meeting our commitments.


What You’ll Do:

  • Work with client support, product management, marketing, operations, and engineering to deliver scopes of work, proposals, and software enhancement request documentation in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Become a trusted advisor to client stakeholders to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the clients taking the lead in ensuring all contractual commitments are met.
  • Accountable for managing contract renewals/extensions of current business, application/project additions and other required contract related modifications.
  • Responsible for managing contractual commitments and contract deliverables which include existing projects.
  • Become a subject matter expert on applicable product and service value propositions.
  • Train new customers, enabling new features, helping them identify goals and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships with key stakeholders including at the highest level of decision-making authority within client organizations.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of the market and the client environment including open opportunities, strategic priorities, and issues that may impact our business.


What Success Looks Like…

In 3 – 6 months….

  • Understand the measures of success for your role and have clear expectations for the remainder of your performance for the year.
  • Learn Bamboo Health products, customer segments, and industry trends.
  • Your goal in the first 6 months is to become as independent as possible and prioritize stability for your clients and your internal teams. Meet all critical stakeholders, learn as much as you can and understand the priorities of our organization and your new clients.

In 12 months…

  • At this point, you are successfully owning your accounts and have an established understanding of the strategic initiatives within the account through relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Meeting quarterly and annual retention and growth goals and KPIs.
  • You can develop strategic account plans with a focus on reducing areas of risk, improving the client experience, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.


What You Need:

  • Outstanding communication (written and oral), presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess process and change management skills.
  • The ability to execute and prioritize many tasks in a fast-paced environment must be a self-starter.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and work with a client to create timely solutions and resolutions.
  • Experience with contract management and negotiation.
  • Experience building and managing relationships, including interacting with all levels of management (both internally and client-focused).
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of account management experience in healthcare IT, health policy, state government policy, Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) sales, or a similar environment.
  • Ability to work independently and to participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
