What You Will Do:

As the inventory coordinator you are the floor level inventory and quality representation for the Quality departments. You will work with inventory movements, quality metrics, and assist in investigations of inventory and quality discrepancies. This job will work in loose pick, full case and full pallet storage areas.

• Manage daily inventory by reviewing and reconciling daily cuts, reviewing, and approving cycle counts and conduct cleansing of 999 Inventory and investigating discrepancies(purging of virtual bins to clear the inventory financials)-30%
• Work with the Quality Manager to find root cause on quality and inventory discrepancies- 5%
• Prepare aged products for destruction-10%
• Cycle counts-20%
• Fill in as auditor when auditors are out-10%
• Assist in planning and execution of the annual physical inventory-5%
• Monthly quality reports-10%
• Provide input on system enhancements and act as liaison to communicate and train the local staff on such enhancements-10%

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• Must have demonstrated previous experience managing hourly staff
• Excellent work ethic a must
• Requires the ability to act independently without direct supervision as well as to support a team to accomplish critical and timely objectives
• Must be flexible, organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of SAP and inventory control experience a plus
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Must be able to keep up with a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• High School diploma or GED. College degree preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation ability to enable discussions on challenges, discussions and issues
• Prior working knowledge of WMS or ERP
• Strong computer, analytical, and communication skills. Excel is a plus.
• 2 years previous experience in inventory and/or quality control
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
