Inventory/Supply Clerk Jobs

We are looking for a full-time Inventory/Supply Clerk to work in the shipping of steel equipment. Come be a part of building large, specialty equipment for sawmills and lumberyards that is shipped throughout the US and abroad! Essential Functions

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Report Cycle counting to Plant Manager
• Identify steel parts to ensure that they match the packing list
• Operate a forklift at times
• Read a tape measure
• Secure parts to pallet
• Researching and Problem-solving skills
• Basic reading skills of Vendor Labels
• Work in a team environment
• Counting of Inventory levels to match Production System

Supervisory Responsibility

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds with a weight limit of 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM:00 PM, 40 hours per week. Overtime hours as needed. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Additional Eligibility Qualifications
