Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities for the position.
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of related work experience.

Licenses, Registration, and Certifications

  • Must complete required HIPAA training within the first 6 months of hire.
  • Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Class ‘R’ Colorado driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security + certifications preferred.

The System Administrator will be responsible for performing technical related duties to execute the installation, maintenance and/or support of enterprise hardware and software for PCs, network equipment, telecom equipment, servers, printers, and other associated peripherals.

Other responsibilities include managing and maintaining our SolarWinds Orion monitoring solution in alignment with best practices and preparing administrative reports and recordkeeping on technology related projects or functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and perform IT and/or ICS cyber incident response as required.
  • Create and manage end-user profiles to support file, printer, and application access in a secure, client friendly manner across all device types including mobile devices used outside of the internal network.
  • Demonstrate experience designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring solutions (i.e., SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, etc.)
  • Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure resources including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and Azure AD.
  • Provide support and training for technical staff and clients in the understanding and use of client infrastructure hardware and software.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans for upgrades and implementations.
  • Must be able to perform safety sensitive functions – Industrial Control section only.
  • Identify opportunities and recommends solutions for improving service efficiencies and effectiveness. • Implement operational and technical security controls; and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures.
  • Research hardware/software technical problems and trends at an enterprise level.
  • Perform related work as required.
  • Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
  • Provide proactive guidance support and training to personnel.
  • Manage System Center Configuration Manager server; monitor status reports for site errors, monitor deployment statuses, and update/build new inventories.
  • Manage, upgrade, and maintain Hyper-V virtual environment. Perform Microsoft Active Group Policy and directory administration.
  • On-call rotation.
