Job Description

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for building the company's operations team while establishing strategic efficiencies within the organization to streamline the installation process. The COO will be responsible for training and development of the installation team and establishing a winning culture within that team.


As COO you will be responsible for quality and cost, effective execution of residential solar installations, recruiting, and contracting resources required to execute projects in the US. You will be responsible for overseeing project management, design, and operations. You will manage Field Services and Construction as well as service and support of existing completed projects and customers. You will oversee project reporting and daily operations.


You will be responsible for evaluating and managing the resources and processes required for the successful completion of a high volume of residential solar projects and efficiently review high level reporting to identify potential issues while providing effective solutions to multi variable problems.


You will work with an energetic sales team to understand sales performance and forecasts and ensure manpower is available to complete projects with a focus on customer service and quality. Additionally, you will understand and manage operation performance, fluctuate resources in line with capacity and performance targets, and analyze performance data and ensure optimal performance while driving continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and productivity throughout operations.


Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business management or related degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Solar with a focus on operational excellence.
  • 10+ years of operations delivery, consulting, process transformation, process excellence experience
