Summary of Basic Function:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role guiding, developing, and shaping the future growth of the Bank. The CFO will oversee the design, enhancement, integration, reporting, and oversight of Brentwood Bank’s Finance, Accounting and Data Analytics function. In collaboration with all Lines of Business, the CFO will take an active role in recommending and developing new products and services that will provide customers with the ability to reach their financial goals with minimal friction. This position will report to the EVP Chief Operating Officer.
- As a member of the Executive Management team, assists business line leaders in business development, relationship management, and overall Bank representation within the Bank’s communities and professional representation with trade associations.
- Provides input on business requirements necessary to achieve objectives including budgets.
- Monitors compliance with policies and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborating with other members of the Executive Team to formulate and execute the Bank’s strategic plan.
- Assesses organizational data needs and serves as the executive sponsor in developing dashboard reporting for customer analytics, propensity to buy, external opportunity analyses, internal accountabilities, and safety and soundness.
- Ensures strategic objectives shaped at the Executive Management level are translated into tactical business plans with measurements in place to monitor progress at department levels and benchmarks against industry.
- Develops KPI’s/KRI’s/OKR’s aligned with the strategic initiatives of the bank
- Oversees the Bank’s planning/forecasting/reporting function
- Develops, implements, and maintains accountabilities for data governance.
- Work may be performed in an office environment with normal noise levels.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:A minimum of 10 years’ experience managing groups of people across a range of business disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or CPA preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, accounting policies and procedures.
- Involves prolonged sitting and computer usage.
- The position is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and incumbent will need to live within a commutable distance.
- Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, Banking, Data Management
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees.
