The DraftKings Knowledge Management and Training (KM&T) team is passionate about creating an exceptional experience by providing customers with easy-to-find, easy-to-use, and easy-to-trust self-service articles for any question they might have. We are constantly enhancing our documentation and support content, and the Chatbot Specialist plays a vital role in organizing these efforts. Their responsibility is to develop chatbot flows that provide contextual assistance to our players' inquiries.

What you’ll do as a Chatbot Specialist, Knowledge Management:

• Work closely with software engineers and developers to incorporate chatbot systems into different platforms, including websites, mobile apps, messaging apps, and voice assistants.
• Create smooth, interactive chatbot experiences by designing conversational flows and dialogue trees. Use state-of-the-art dialogue management techniques, like reinforcement learning or rule-based systems, to handle complex conversations and maintain context.
• It is important to test methodologies and conduct rigorous testing to ensure the chatbot's performance, accuracy, and reliability. It is also essential to continuously refine the chatbot's behavior based on user feedback and real-world usage scenarios.
• Use chatbot interactions, user feedback, and performance metrics analysis to find ways to improve. Optimize chatbot behavior, language models and personalize user experiences with the help of user data.
• Keep updated on the most recent developments in chatbot technologies, NLP frameworks, and ML algorithms. Engage in research and participate in the creation of cutting-edge chatbot systems.
• Hold cross-functional teams and content writers accountable to project plans and content roadmaps, including milestones, key objectives, and documenting success metrics.
• Model the DraftKings culture and values and actively participate in developing a healthy team culture.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Previous experience in creating content for a Knowledge Base or Help Center.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams.
• At least two years of support, knowledge base, compliance/regulatory, or related content creation experience.
• Zendesk, Tableau, and/or SQL experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with ticketing and road-mapping systems in Jira, documentation in Confluence, and collaboration in Google Workspace.
• Ability to leverage data to identify and analyze trends.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related experience a plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,500.00 - $98,500.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
