Chaplain/Bereavement Specialist Jobs

Pool time Varied hours per paid period. Monday to Friday Weekends as needed -Bachelor’s Degree obtained through a formal 4- year program. Five years of related experience. Bereavement and crisis intervention preferred. The chaplain is responsible for the provision of spiritual care services to patient/families/caregivers either directly or through coordination of care with other spiritual counselors. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining the bereavement program to facilitate appropriate grieving and/or support for families/caregivers, and hospital staff. Bereavement services will be offered based on a number of factors, including the individual assessment, intensity of grief, coping ability of the survivors and the needs perceived by each patient, family, and caregiver.
