Position: Change Management Consultant

Salary: $50-65/hr

Location: Hybrid

Change Management Consultant:

We are looking for a Change Management Consultant to help with Implementation Management and Change Management services for a large-scale cybersecurity compliance program under the PMO.


Responsibilities:

  • Align key stakeholders around change management tactics and approaches.
  • Conduct analyses needed to prove or disprove hypotheses driving business transformation.
  • Provide consulting services to define strategic and operational business transformation initiatives.
  • May work on multiple initiatives.
  • Facilitate team meetings and cross-functional workshops.
  • Work with leaders in multiple business units to provide effective leadership for the initiatives under analysis and definition.
  • Understand and analyze various drivers impacting key metrics and outcomes and provide a fact-based recommendation to the stakeholders.
  • Define initiatives (projects/programs) to realize the business transformation.
  • Proactively anticipate and work towards mitigating risks to project execution or stakeholder engagement
  • May lead teams of NWN and external resources.


Required Skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, navigate ambiguous situations, and handle multiple, competing priorities
  • Solid understanding of Adult Learning Theory
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly with executives, leaders, and stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations
  • Exceptional facilitation skills including the ability to lead large groups, reconcile multiple viewpoints, and manage stakeholder resistance
  • Strong core consulting skills with a demonstrated track record of quality delivery
  • Ability to drive results independently, but thrives in collaborative environments
  • Strong implementation management, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Utility industry experience preferred
  • Experience with instructional design and Learning Management Systems (LMS); gamification


Preferred:

  • Prosci or similar change management certification
  • Significant prior consulting experience with large, national firms preferred
  • 8+ years of experience delivering against large, complex programs and projects in a consulting environment
  • Master's degree in business, technology, or related field preferred
