This hybrid role will be based out of our Buffalo Grove, IL office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization.

We are seeking to hire a Central Billing Specialist who will work as part of the central billing team to process and monitor incoming invoices and credits. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of Produce Alliance central billing systems and processes to perform critical job functions to support billing objectives.

What you'll be doing with us:

• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues
• Reconciling and issuing payments
• Monitor and process incoming invoices and credits from distributors
• Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data

About You:

• Strong organizational skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Microsoft Office (Strong Excel Skills Preferred)
• Good communication skills
• A high school diploma or GED - college degree in Business or related field is preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in an accounting related position preferred, but not required
