Role Description

F&J Engineering Group is looking for a full-time CEI Inspector to join our team. This on-site role is located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area. The CEI Inspector will be responsible for performing field inspections and enforcement of construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. They will also perform all inspection and testing necessary to ensure that the work performed by the contractor meets the specifications and contract documents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's License
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• CTQP Final Estimates Level I
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
• CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CEI inspection on FDOT projects
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
