Job Description
Escription Of Position/Responsibilities And Duties
  • The Administrative Assistant coordinates auditor requests as well as maintains department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel; arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. They facilitate orientation of new employees and process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and validity of payment. The Assistant develops and maintains electronic training documents and keeps a filing system to maintain records for the department in a way in which they can be easily retrieved. They prepare forms, files, spreadsheets that are necessary for the daily and ongoing operation of the entire department. They will also collect and process payroll data and reports and ensure all employee information is kept confidential at all times.
Education And Work Experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, including ability to discuss medical issues.
  • Negotiation skills including assertiveness and being proactive.
  • High school graduate or GED certificate.
  • At least two years experience in Healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Adequate keyboarding skills( 40 words per minute typing rate); Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
