PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Provide patient care and supportive resources to pre-dominantly Spanish speaking population
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision is trained in and performs tasks in outpatient Clinic Treatment program as a member of the professional therapeutic team, including:
- Maintains suitable records and files of therapy progress and test performances;
- Develops treatment plans;
- Risk assessments;
- Reports and interprets results of contacts with patients;
- Provides individual, group, couple and family therapy;
- Intake and Psychosocial evaluations;
- Manages Abuse allegations in all age populations;
- Initiates and participates in designated clinical and/or research projects;
- Participates in family-systems oriented training and service programs;
- Gathers, arranges, summarizes and quantitatively treats collected data. Participates in clinical and administrative staff conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college.
2. Section 424-a of the New York Social Services Law requires an authorized agency to inquire whether a candidate for employment with child-caring responsibilities is or has been the subject of a child abuse and maltreatment report. The agency has the discretion to assign a candidate who has been the subject of a child abuse and maltreatment report to a position with no child-caring responsibilities.
