Manager of Case Management

Position Summary

The Case Manager I is primarily responsible for supporting the Case Management team by providing efficient, thorough, and accurate resolution to a wide array of tasks. A Case Manager is expected to assist on multiple cases simultaneously and will play a role throughout all phases of the claims process.

Core Responsibilities

  • Gather evidence in support of the claim (e.g., police reports, weather data, location photos, etc.)
  • Coordinate medical billing for client by ensuring invoices are sent to the proper insurance carriers as well as routine balance inquiry calls
  • Coordinate the request and receipt of critical client paperwork (e.g., personal injury protection applications, lost wages verification forms, medical authorizations, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Draft letters of representation
  • Document and organize inbound mail
  • Request and aggressively follow-up on outstanding medical record and bill requests

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with change and rapidly shifting priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with candor
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Ability to manage and prioritize around tight deadlines
  • Comfortable with current office tools and technology
