(VARIOUS SHIFTS AVAILABLE)


5% of base pay shift differential for evening shift (50% of shift occurs between 6:00 pm – Midnight)


10% of base pay shift differential for overnight shift (50% of shift occurs between Midnight and 8:00 am)

Candidates who are successfully employed as Case Aide for five (4) years will be eligible to apply for a promotional opportunity to a DCS Specialist Trainee Position ($21.7068 hourly).


WHAT DOES A CASE AIDE DO?


A Day In The Life Of a DCS Case Aide Can Look Like


A DCS Case Aide works in the field, in collaboration with the case management team, and provides a variety of services to families and children in various social service programs. Alternative work hours may be required, including overtime, weekends and holidays at the discretion of the supervisor.


  • Under immediate supervision, provides a variety of services to children
  • Engages, observes and interacts with children to include, but not limited to performing lice treatments, changing diapers, assisting
  • Assists clients with application processes; provides case assistance to participants involved in child safety services


with potty training, bathing young children and providing comfort


  • Performs housekeeping functions to include, but not limited to laundry, cleaning dishes, preparing meals (for all ages) and cleaning
  • Provides trauma informed care to children
  • Transports children to their respective placement
  • Provides clerical support to staff and clients

  • Participates in a variety of professional meetings and delivers goods, as requested

  • Tuesday – Saturday 4:00PM to 1:00AM
  • Monday, Thursday - Saturday 9:00PM to 8:00AM
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7:00 AM -6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Monday, Thursday - Saturday 11:00AM to 10:00PM
  • Tuesday – Saturday - 4:00AM to 1:00PM
  • Friday – Monday - 7:00AM to 6:00PM
  • Saturday – Tuesday 9:00PM to 8:00AM
  • Sunday – Thursday 4:00PM to 1:00AM

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A CASE AIDE?


  • Valid Arizona issued driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Level one Fingerprint Clearance card - Arizona.


Selected candidates must be able to pass a background investigation and DCS Central Registry check.


Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12)

Bi-Lingual Stipend


DCS offers a Bi-Lingual Stipend to all interested and eligible DCS Employees who successfully complete a language proficiency exam. Qualifying employees will receive a $500 annual stipend paid in equal increments.
