Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Support the company mantra
• Build small buildings, counters and fixtures throughout the park
• Friendly, clean, fast and safe service
• Keep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance utilizing Maximo system.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment as required
• Make wide variety of repairs including repairs to buildings, roofs, fences, gates, walls, flooring, doors, stairs, carpet, fixtures, etc.
• Adhere to all department and company safety policies
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections, routine preventative maintenance, could include annual rehab/rebuild on wooden roller coaster.
• Pour concrete for buildings, rides and sidewalks
• Maintain roofs, floors, and sliding on all wooden structures.
• Work as part of assigned crew performing rough and finish carpentry work and facility repairs
• Completion of projects and assignments as assigned

Skills And Qualifications

• Most possess a working knowledge of the use of hand and power tools and large power equipment including table saw, drill press, band saw, etc.
• Should possess a thorough understanding of carpentry procedures and methods
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret rough layouts or sketches
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, twist, push and pull and life and carry a minimum of 50lbs, must be able to reach overheard Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to perform work functions at heights in excess of 100’ (would include roller coasters)
• Must possess basic math skills
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clear driving record.

Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.
