Job Description

The United Green is America’s Premier Cannabis Staffing Provider. We connect the Industry’s Top Talent with Cannabis Companies throughout the United States. Our experienced team has a passion for networking and placing job seekers into the career of their dreams. No matter your background or experience, we’re here to help you Grow! Elevate your Career in Cannabis with The United Green.

Our client is a Cannabis Lab based on the Northeastern Coast. They are currently working on a beta launch later this year. One of the products will be a beta “wrap” on cannabis dispensary websites. The website wrap will incorporate product features (e.g. presentation, search, sort, filter, etc.) over the existing dispensary website/platform. They have backend development work covered but need UX/Design to work with developers and their project team to help deliver look and feel and wire frames. The size of project and backend are still WIP. More details to be disclosed during introductory calls.

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Designer to join their team for a confidential project. As a UX Designer, you will work closely with the developers and project team to create an exceptional user experience for a cannabis dispensary website wrap, which will be launched as part of a beta release later this year. Your role will involve collaborating on the look and feel of the website, as well as creating wireframes and incorporating various features such as presentation, search, sort, filter, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers and the project team to understand project requirements, goals, and objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather insights and create user personas, user stories, and user flows.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to illustrate design concepts and interactions.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback and data-driven insights.
  • Communicate design ideas, concepts, and rationale effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure the seamless implementation of UX designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UX/UI design.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for the cannabis dispensary website wrap.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Front-end engineering experience and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UX design, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and a user-centric mindset.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, ideally in a confidential or sensitive project environment.

Salary and Hours:

The pay range for this role is between $50 and $80 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The specific details will be discussed further during introductory calls.
