Cafe Manager Jobs

Milk & Pull is looking for a Cafe Manager for our Ridgewood location. The Manager will lead a dynamic team of baristas in day to day operations. Managers will assist in customer service and barista training.

Proactive: Our Managers are skilled at maintaining a schedule of all things that need to be completed and prioritizing time efficiently. Thinking ahead and bringing new ideas/approaches are important to keeping things fresh.
Kind and Responsible: Leading the team by example by demonstrating the best hospitality towards guests and being a trustworthy leader for the team.
This is an hourly position that also includes tips.
Qualifications

• Demonstrates Specialty Coffee knowledge and can relay that information in a simple, streamlined way. (practices dialing-in, steaming microfoam and troubleshooting)
• Possession of a NYCDOH Food Handler's certificate.
• 2+ years of leadership skills in a relevant position is preferred

We strive for a good work/life balance within each position. Manager's are required to work at least 32-40 hours a week (4-5 days), majority of the time will be on the floor guiding service. Each shift worked on the floor includes credit card tips.
This position requires standing for more than 7 hours, lifting, bending, ability to use general motor functions for the entirety of a shift.
