Job Description
Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our procurement team. As a Buyer with at least 2 years of work experience, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services needed for our organization. Your role will involve negotiating with suppliers, analyzing market trends, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage product returns, replacements, and warranties.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on predetermined criteria.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Source and select vendors to ensure the availability of required materials, products, and services.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and pricing with suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct periodic stock assessments, and address any discrepancies.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Implement best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement operations.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Recommend alternative suppliers and sourcing strategies to optimize costs without compromising quality.

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve any procurement-related issues.
  • Review purchase requests and determine appropriate procurement methods.
  • Market Analysis and Cost Management:
  • Monitor market trends, prices, and availability of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management:


Requirements:


  • Knowledge of inventory management principles is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
