Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Analyst to join the SASTeC Business Operations Team at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis that has customer service, analytical, communications, and technical expertise. The Business Operations analyst will be involved in different work such as producing management reports, project work, analysis, and operational metrics to support the department. If you have broad technical and business analytics experience, this is the role for you! You will report to the Business Operations Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
  • Document and organize new business processes and proposing alternative/improved processes solutions.
  • Research and prepare proposals for improving current practices or implementations to meet the needs of our customers' expectations.
  • Satisfy ad-hoc management and customer requests that require analysis.
  • Collect and document work effort status and providing periodic updates to management and customers.
  • Participate in cross-team analysis.
  • Help fulfill the department’s overall business operations strategies to support departmental maturation efforts.
Qualifications
  • The ability to manage a dynamic workload and re-prioritize quickly.
  • The ability to work in cross-departmental teams.
  • 1+ years of related professional experience.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower job grade and salary.
  • Travel up to 5%
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex processes and data sets.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with individuals at all levels.
  • Experience using MS Office suite (including, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook).
  • Interest in and general knowledge of technology concepts and environments.
