Job Brief:

The Business Integration Analyst (BIA) will be the key liaison between the customer’s business teams and the other members of the project delivery team. The position requires to provide in-depth knowledge of the Gridstream product and, working across departments including Development, Engineering, SQA, Product Management, and Project Management. The Business Integration Analyst is responsible for collecting business requirements and configurations from the customer’s business teams and configuring the product.


Primary Statement of Duties:

  • Responsible for providing integration consulting, business process definition.
  • Hands-on experience on the product, to support customer requirements and do data analysis.
  • Have a good understanding of the underlying product data-models and the ability to do analysis on large data sets.
  • Ensure project documentation is current, and work with Solution architects to ensure all project customizations are appropriately documented for hand-off.
  • Work closely with the Implementation and Project managers, to ensure the data Service Level agreements (SLA’s) has been defined during the project planning phase, and being consistently met through project hand-off stages.
  • Support testing and validating the various integration interfaces within the customers integration landscape.
  • Responsible to support the Quality Assurance team to validate test cases and support System validation.
  • Participate in response teams for root cause analysis of system problems identified in the deployment of company solutions
  • Act as the liaison to the other business units within Landis+Gyr, as needed, to resolve and follow through on issues / defects.

Education and Experience (include required Certifications, if any):

  • Bachelors Degree in job related discipline required.
  • Utility experience highly preferred.
  • Background in software quality testing desired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills; able to complete methodical root cause analysis and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Highly adaptable in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Oracle database and good SQL skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, able to work under stressful conditions
  • Demonstrate customer focus with proven ability to resolve customer issues appropriately
  • Strong customer communication and service skills
  • Excellent team player; self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to plan and maintain schedules
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%.

Pay is in the range of $81,400 - $126,800 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
