Business Development Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Estimates partners’ needs and goals.
  • Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Tracks individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
  • Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
  • Recommends equity investments.
  • Discovers and explores business opportunities.
  • Examines risks and potentials for business opportunities.


We are a rapidly growing startup company: As an incoming Business Development Manager, you will be working a regular 40-hour week plus be on-call 24/7 in case a need arises that needs you to remotely/in-person show up. You should be able to locally and internationally source potential deals, follow up on these deals, close these deals, and be open to traveling 80% of the time to make this happen. We simply are looking for a driven closer! Additionally, we offer a dog-friendly workspace, rent-free company residence if you relocate to Edmond Oklahoma, stock options, and massive upward mobility after every two years of working with us. On the 6th-year mark, you will be automatically considered for an executive position.
