Business Data Analyst Jobs

Overview
The Business Analyst provides three fundamental roles: (1) to build and analyze data models for market, product, service, and pricing (2) to capture, analyze and report insights to aid the business in developing innovative solutions for operational and strategic initiatives, and (3) to manage, analyze and monitor data integrations and historical trends for accurate demand and supply forecasts and inventory management. This is a highly dynamic business data analyst role and will report to the Director, Sales Operations.
Responsibilities

• Perform price analyses for commercial quotes across diverse business programs and geographies and coordinate cross-function efforts for pricing conditions and thresholds.
• Perform data analysis on backlog, bookings, sales, costs, and margin to meet the needs of the business and provide input for business demand and supply forecasts and inventory management.
• Perform other duties and specific projects as assigned.
• Work closely with Commercial and global teams to capture and perform in-depth analysis on market intelligence, market share, win-rate analysis to provide guidance for an overall pricing and inventory strategy.
• Create dashboards for KPIs via Power BI or equivalent data visualization tool.
• Collect, analyze, and identify business and market trends and present insights to the Product, Marketing, Sales Ops and Commercial teams.
• Maintain the data integrity of our internal data management systems by performing data mining, data mapping, data cleanup/integrity audits and reconstruction of 3 rd party provided data to fit the data integration requirements.
• Maintain and update key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal reviews as well as external customer meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales Ops Director to develop data-driven tools to improve internal, global processes and gain insights to deliver faster TATs and greater precision for commercial and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
• Experience with data integrations, APIs, webhooks or equivalent with ERP and other data storage platforms
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects to committed deadlines
• 4-year degree and or 3+ years’ experience in a related field with strong emphasis on data analysis
• Epicor ERP knowledge a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• SQL knowledge preferred
• Oral and written communication skills
