Business Analyst Jobs

The Business Analyst provides data and decision support for the company’s daily operational and strategic functions and operates from a works with all levels of the company hierarchy to lead and drive efficiency, reduce cost and increase internal operational awareness in a collaborative manner through various reporting, analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will provide support for all Airborne locations and may require frequent travel.

This position is responsible for extracting key business data, analyzing its meaning and making suggestions to primary stakeholders to track business performance and support improvements in business processes and operations. The incumbent is responsible to bring data tools and intelligence to problem solving and remove processing time for information to allow time for interpretation and action. The role is in support of the Airborne Leadership staff objective to identify, track, and improve organizational knowledge and implement actions to improve the company’s bottom line.

Required Job Skills:

• Able to identify & analyze problem areas, identify root-causes of problems with all levels of the organization, drive actionable outcomes and follow up on results.
• Mathematics, statistics, and computer programming with up front understanding that the role will rely on and heavily utilize expertise in all three.
• Be able to gain credibility by stepping in and perform various job functions throughout the work environment to facilitate change to processes or to meet organizational needs.
• Verbal, written presentation, problem solving & interpersonal skills necessary to effectively use fact based & well thought out reasoning to communicate, update, persuade and facilitate discussions as well motivate behavior change with all levels of the organization.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power B.I. or a similar tool
• Communicate in such a manner to establish rapport, trust, and credibility with all employees and management while working toward problem resolution and facilitating change presentations skills including development of presentation/training materials.
• Willing and able to work various shifts and weekends as the demands of the financial calendar and project timelines may dictate.
• College level coursework in statistics and economics.

Preferred Job Skills:

• Master’s degree in business
• Experience creating and executing Continuous Improvement activities that drive organizational results and change.
