Job Title: Business Analyst

Duration: 13 weeks (Fully Remote)

Location: Troy, MI 48083

Shift: Mon – Fri; 8AM - 4:30 PM

Duties:

• Supports scrum team by defining workflows, epics/features/user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Identifies new capabilities and functionalities needed across the business processes and helps to build a data driven culture within the company.
• Reports progress to various levels of leadership within organization and provides data insights to help leaders make actionable decisions.
• Assists with developing the methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs.
• Analyzes information to identify trends and opportunities as well as identify information flow and data issues.
• Plans, designs, and recommends business processes to improve and support business activities.

Education:

• Advanced degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required or five (5) years of applicable experience in lieu of degree.

Skills:

• Preferred experience includes strong knowledge of state-of-the-art approaches in design, build, test, problem solving, and ability to articulate examples of workflows and processes associated with that experience.
• Three (3) years applicable experience in a Healthcare setting preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience with data warehouse environments, such as data design, database architecture, metadata or repository creation preferred.
• Five (5) years of applicable work experience required.

Schedule Notes:

• 5 years of applicable experience
• Candidate will be working on a project that is transitioning HAP from multiple call centers to a Genesys solution.
• REQUIRED: Articulate in conveying business/technical requirements, can create, and maintain operational documentation, has a problem-solving mindset.
• Contract to hire position.
• REQUIRED: bachelor's degree
• 3 years being in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience in application programming or application support, call center experience.
• Preferred: Masters degree, 2 years experience in data warehouse environments, Genesys experience. If a candidate has any Agile or Genesys certifications this will give them a leg up on the competition, but it is not required.
• Will accept 5 years experience in lieu of degree.
• REQUIRED: Health care/ health plan experience
