Withum is seeking a full-time Business Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Solutions Manager, the Business Analyst drives business solutions within Withum’s Audit, Advisory, Finance, Talent, Marketing and other Firm Administration teams through technology initiatives. Additionally, the Business Analyst acts as a technical resource to leadership and team members assisting in the standardization and implementation of applications and other technology initiatives that align with the Firm’s overall strategic plan and its commitment to its team members, its clients, and its communities.

Responsibilities

• Successfully transition ongoing solution support to designated teams and/or Service Technicians upon completion of projects
• Support application and data integration efforts during merger and acquisitions
• Work with and manage outside vendor relationships including attendance of industry events
• Complete current state analysis, requirements gathering, process workflows, and other documentation
• Coordinate all firmwide communications regarding technology issues, announcements, vendor outages and changes
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support teams to prevent reactionary situations
• Manage change by developing, implementing, and monitoring centralized change management processes
• Assist internal service line and department teams to resolve technical and business issues by using applications, help files, vendor support, blogs, user forums or other online resources
• Understand business needs, educate staff on technology and how to use it as a strategic asset
• Provide proactive support to ensure that IT services are available and performant
• Stay up to date with key technology development/issues within the technology and accounting industry, specifically enhancements of business applications
• Develop a deep understanding of operational processes and procedures within Audit, Advisory, Finance, Talent, Marketing, and other Firm Administration teams
• Assist internal teams and IT in piloting and deploying new solutions and upgrades to existing applications
• Appropriately prioritize both IT projects and day-to-day operations
• Assist with IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and meet business requirements
• Conduct quality assurance to ensure that IT solutions meet business needs and are of high quality
• Develop and maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and systems
• Manage relationships with internal service lines and departments to ensure their IT needs are met

Position Requirements

Experience & Education

• Minimum of 3-5 years on-hands application support and/or project management within IT, finance, human resource, or marketing teams
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology related field preferred. Equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable
• Ideal candidate has Project Management (CAPM or PMP) certification; Change Management certification; ITIL Foundation certification a plus

• Ability to be flexible with work schedule hours to ensure successful completion of projects
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with the business on a non-technical level, and with the IT department on a more technical level
• Resourceful and innovative problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask managing multiple projects and deadlines at concurrently.
• Willingness to travel to remote offices and industry events as needed
• Ability to effectively communicate solution and resolution information to end users
• Passion for technology and interest in exploring new technologies

Physical Requirements

• Kneel, reach over shoulder or head, use step stool to place wall postings
• Lift/carry up to 10 lbs.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. CA and Washington state ranges are from $70,000-$80,000

New York City ranges are from $70,000-$80,000
Washington DC ranges are from $60,000-$68,000
