Role: Business Analyst
Future Technologies is a professional services company specializing in technical consulting, planning, design, implementation and support of innovative communications solutions focused on wireless infrastructures and their accompanying technologies for commercial and military customers around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team. They will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement:
- Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.
- Identify, assess, and analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows.
- Data Analysis:
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track and communicate performance metrics.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize business performance and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to extract valuable insights.
- Technology:
- Provide guidance and support in technology-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
- Evaluate existing technology infrastructure, systems, and tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their implementation where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the IT team to define technology requirements and participate in the selection and implementation of new systems and solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, finance, and product development, to understand business needs and requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between various departments to drive process improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or Kaizen.
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience working in a service-based startup or SMB
License/Certification: Preferred but not required
- Certified Process Improvement Professional
- Lead Certification
- Six Sigma Certification
- PMP or Agile Certification

Compensation:
