Job Description
Overview:

The Operational Data Analyst is part of the Program Management Office Team and provides support for
our clients Business Intelligence Platform. This individual will query source system data, develop new
operational reports, provide feedback for enhancing existing cross functional dashboards, and be responsible
for answering general ad-hoc data requests.


What you will be doing:
  • Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies between source systems and dashboards; assist in root cause analysis where necessary (Data Quality)
  • Work with stakeholders and initiative owners to refine requirements and develop new cross functional reports and dashboards (Dashboard POC)
  • Query source systems and compare results against newly designed reports and dashboards prior to production go-live (QA & Testing)
  • Query source systems to answer questions from cross functional leadership teams (Ad-Hoc Data Analysis)
  • Work with technical teams to document the system integrations, and sources of business information, available within the business intelligence environment (Business Data Diagrams)
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams in developing data quality reports to ensure data integrity and support implementation of newly defined business processes (Control Reports)

You are:
  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively, strategically, and tactically
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field and Minimum three (3) years’ experience in data analytics or drug development.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in life sciences or related industry
  • Ability to work with both Technical and Business Team Resources
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written); effective in interaction cross-functionally and with senior management
