Budtender Jobs

The Budtender position is responsible for the transaction of all cannabis goods and ensuring each Safeport customer receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Safeport sales associates are friendly outgoing individuals who will help our customers understand, select and purchase our full offering of cannabis products including; flower, concentrates, edibles and topicals. The ideal Budtender will not only be extremely knowledgeable regarding the efficacy, effects, aroma, taste and aesthetic of all in store products, but will also be a friendly, engaging, and compassionate individual. All sales associates will be an upbeat, energetic presence who appreciates the subtleties and nuances of superior customer service. Required to have extensive knowledge of Cannabis as well as the patience and honesty to guide our customers to the products that they desire. Sales Associates at Safeport are expected to provide customer service in accordance with our established standards.

• Perform other related work as required.
• Answer any questions our customers have in a friendly, professional and patient manner.
• Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.
• Recommend, select, and help locate the proper product for customers depending on their individual needs.
• Becoming educated on every brand we carry including expected effects, benefits, selling points, and more.
• Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.

• Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
• Frequently maintain the dispensary’s cleanliness.
• PROACTIVE. There may be cases in which we don't explicitly tell you to do something, but it's always nice knowing that we can trust you to get the job done compliantly. This also means calling your supervisor when you need clarification.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
• Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping/merchandising.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Develop and maintain rapport with our customers, vendors, service providers and staff.
• Ensure customers' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently as well as communicate member requests and/or problems to management when needed.
• PUNCTUAL. You must be the type of person who shows up 10 minutes early.

• High energy and High Level of integrity.
• Must be 21 years old and pass the criminal background check.
• Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match.
• Proficient computing skills.
• Comfortable with problem solving and communicating with others.
• Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Strong cash handling skills.
• Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction.
• Excellent communication skills.
