Buddy Holly Banquet Bartender

Summary:
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for serving our guests alcoholic beverages during events. He/She must ensure all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for serving alcoholic drinks to guests following standard recipes and policies and procedures.
Responsible for completing an accurate opening and closing inventory of products.
Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
Responsible for arranging bottles to make an attractive display behind the bar.
Responsible for set up/breakdown of bartender area for each event.
Responsible for knowledge of the Banquet Bar menu.
Responsible for the BEO for each event/
Responsible for checking Identification of guests in order to verify age requirements.
Responsible for taking beverage orders from the serving staff or directly from guests.
Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to stop staff from serving alcohol to those individuals.
Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures.
Responsible for collecting payment and reconciling change bank at the end of the event.
Ensure compliance of all policies and procedures with respect to the Food & Beverage department, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit as required by state and federal regulations.
Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
Ability to perform all physical aspects of the job, including but not limited to bending lifting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking, pushing and pulling.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
