Our client, a leading global toy company, is looking for an experienced Senior Designer with a passion for playful typography, branding and graphic design across all visual communication and marketing materials, that support the brands strategy and business objectives including key art, retail social, digital, animation, video production, and more!
You Will:

• Be a strong collaborator that takes personal accountability and love to work in a team environment
• Will be effective in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Be prompt and deliver creative that pushes the brand forward, that is best-in-class
• Be hands-on, spanning across 360 campaign activations, experiential, print, social, light animation, light video production, branding, graphic development, brand guides, merchandising and more
• Maintain ownership of work from concept through final delivery while appropriately communicating with supervisor to ensure alignment
• Develop big ideas that are on-brand, on trend and can translate across marketing communications- including print, digital, video, and social media
• Prioritize multiple projects at any given time and efficiently and effectively deliver on time
• Collaborate and partner with team of copywriters, producers, marketing partners and fellow designers in a positive and productive manner

You Have:

• A portfolio that showcases a playful, kid-like, colorful pop sensibility with super fun typography
• Tapped into global youth-oriented design, marketing campaigns and trends and also have toy/kid experience
• Excellent computer skills, Adobe CS, and all relevant software tied to graphic design, and content creation
• Design Firm/Agency experience
• Excellent and persuasive presentation skills to gain buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization
• A strong understanding of design principles
• Ability to see large picture while not losing focus of details
• The ability to translate core branding equities and tone through a variety of marketing activations
• Experience with large-scale, global brands
• BA/BS/BFA in Graphic Design and/or MA/MFA
• 4 to 7 years minimum in Art Direction, Graphic Design or similar field
• Entrepreneurial and innovative thinking and embrace change, and taking on new challenges
• A passion for what’s happening in culture, knowledge and fluency on social platforms

Logistics:

• Onsite/offsite: Remote, but prefer local candidates
• Salary/Rate: $45-57 per hour DOE
• Start Date/Duration: May 2023; Ad hoc project work through 2023
• Hours/Week: Sporadic
