Base Salary Range $110,200.00 - $137,800.00


Target Total Cash Range $148,770.00 - $186,030.00


Target Total Cash Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.

Description & Requirements


Just Spices


Just Spices became a subsidiary of Kraft Heinz in early 2022- with the goal of making it easy for consumers across the world to cook delicious meals with their innovative spice and meal prep solutions. In this partnership- Just Spices will bring the culture and know-how of an agile- innovative- DTC-led start-up- while being able to leverage the scale- resources- and know-how of Kraft Heinz in the US market.


Position Summary


As the Brand Manager for Just Spices you will own the end-to-end oversight of all strategies and activities related to acquiring- converting- and growing our consumer base. Working in close collaboration across functions at both- the international Just Spices and the North American Kraft Heinz organizations. Responsibilities include driving key business results for our one-of-its-kind spice products across all channels (omni-channel) including DTC- Retail Sales- marketplaces- etc. You will report directly to the General Manager of the US market and work in close partnership with the different marketing functions at the Just Spices HQ in Germany. This is the first US-based marketing role- and you would have the unique opportunity to build and shape the future of Just Spices with American consumers.


Key Components of the Role


  • Pro-actively identifies growth opportunities and implements marketing actions to grow the Just Spices US brand; seeks new channels- tactics- and tools.
  • Responsible for the planning- creation and management of marketing budgets and expenses; including the ownership of marketing agency and freelancer relationships.
  • Acts as the agent for the US consumer to ensure their needs are understood and met.
  • Brings transformative- non-traditional thinking by tweaking current communication tactics- messaging- and marketing channels.
  • Leads the development of US specific marketing campaigns and assets for digital and traditional marketing channels- including retailer media- digital TV- partnerships- sampling and more.
  • Works in close partnership with the different marketing and brand teams at the German HQ of Just Spices to ensure a global cohesive brand positioning.
  • Leads portfolio management across occasion- brand- pack- price and channel (OBPPC strategy) and partners with the Head of Operations on item forecasting.
  • Works in close partnership with the DTC marketing manager (who owns all DTC performance marketing) to ensure a seamless consumer experience with the brand across all touchpoints.
  • Embraces a test and learn mentality to determine the most impactful and high-quality marketing strategies- with the goal of driving brand awareness- consideration- and trial.


Qualifications


  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Likes wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing ambitious startup environment.
  • Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial “in it to win it” mindset.
  • Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment- strategy and tactical plan development
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in CPG marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Understanding of Financial P&L.
  • Outstanding verbal- written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Professional in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A self-driver who can carry out the organization- execution- and measurement of omni-channel marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Experience working with international counterparts is a plus.
  • Experience building a brand in the US market from scratch is a plus.

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
