Job Description


In this role as a Client Brand Design Strategist, you'll develop, maintain, and optimize the visual design strategy for Intel's entire consumer product brand architecture inclusive of Intel Evo, Intel vPro, Intel Core, Intel Arc and more. As part of a group of design strategists within the Brand Strategy and Identity team, you'll share the common goal of establishing and evolving the strategic design framework to help us connect our customers and partners to our diverse and growing portfolio of client product brands. This work will be done against the existing and evolving Intel corporate brand hierarchy and product brand architecture to ensure a strategic and consistent audience experience is being achieved across all internal and external efforts. You will leverage ecosystem, competitive, and audience insights that are grounded in Intel's evolving business needs to bring to life one of the most important technology brands in the world.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with different business, marketing and content teams at Intel to ensure all foundational product brand assets are being brought to life correctly.
  • Define and manage internal processes and project workflows across multiple internal teams, project resourcing and budget tracking including coordinating internal and external resources.
  • Own delivery and training for the client product brand assets and guidelines, ensuring all are created on spec and on time.
  • Drive a unified and cohesive product brand experience that ladders up/connects to the corporate brand.
  • Lead the creative development process for all foundational client brand identity assets in partnership with both internal resources and external agency resources.
  • Develop insightful, data-backed, business-driven creative briefs to inform creative and brand identity work with a measurable business impact that positions Intel as a leader in the consumer product space.
  • Shape and define foundational creative strategies and objectives against overall business and marketing objectives for Intel's client product brand suite.
  • Identify and implement operational and process efficiencies that lead to continuous improvement in cross team collaboration.
  • Partner with creative resources to ensure they are set up to succeed and pivotal input is being provided along the creative development process.


Desired behavioral traits:

  • A deep understanding of design process including creative strategy, branding, digital design, production, research validation, and transcreation.
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for process and cost efficiency gains across strategic and creative work streams.
  • Strong financial acumen to analyze external agency budgets and burn reports with an eye for efficiency gains and cost savings.
  • Strong organizational skills with a deep understanding of the strategic value that operations, process and tools can bring to a marketing organization.
  • Understanding of creative development roles and responsibilities and processes both internally and at agencies.
  • Experience leading and working with cross functional teams including creatives, designers, product owners, brand strategists, marketing leads, research teams, information architecture, user experience, and internal front-end and back-end development resources.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, or design at a brand or agency.
  • 2+ years program management experience leading and working with cross functional internal and external creative or production teams.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $80,190.00-$120,050.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
