RESPONSIBILITIES OF A BOOKKEEPER

Bookkeeper (PT / FT)

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Process payroll/file quarterly returns
  • Record check register
  • Prepare taxes
  • General administrative work
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.

QUALITIES

  • Must attend to details.
  • Must be dependable, competent and reliable.
  • Communication skills – active listening capability to breakdown complex tax laws to simple terms for clients.
  • Be personable and patient.
  • Bookkeeping skills a plus.
  • Critical Thinking
  • Must love technology/computers.
