About The Role
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department, including data analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enforcing accounting policies and principles. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with the management team.
Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry
• Experience with cost analysis preferred
• ERP experience required, EPICOR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
• Support collections efforts as needed
• Coordinate inventory counts
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts
• Supervise, manage, and develop accounting staff
• Prepare monthly borrowing base reports
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
• Assist in developing the annual budget
• Prepare monthly financial analysis and reports as requested by the CFO
• Other projects as assigned
• Develop and maintain processes with operations management to control and safeguard inventory and other company assets
• Maintain and reconcile various schedules, such as fixed assets schedules
• Manage the month-end close process, including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries
• Assist with annual audit and tax preparations

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit appropriately for eight (8) hours per day
