Billing Specialist Jobs

Primary Accountabilities

• Analyzes proposals and estimates in order to set up cases within the billing systems.
• Accurately input all data within a case onto the billing systems, such as contact information, individual rates, etc.
• Reviews various reports from various systems to ensure that all fees and out of pockets have been entered and are at the final stage prior to running trial and/or real invoices.
• Communicates effectively with other departments in regard to questions or issues with contracts, invoices, or line item charges and provide explanations when necessary.
• Research issues such as requests for adjustments and deviations from the original contracts or invoices.
• Identify any issues that may affect billing and determine the proper course of action.
• Reviews and analyzes invoices to ensure that all items are billed promptly and correctly.
• Validates all invoices agree with the most current pricing terms and conditions.
• Ensures that billing revisions are current and resolved, while keeping detailed records of transactions made.
