The Bell Attendant is responsible for delivering first-class customer service to guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The Bellman is responsible for assisting arriving and departing guests by opening and closing doors, unloading luggage, and extending the initial friendly welcome to the hotel guests.

Are You the Right Fit for This Role?

  • You will need to be personable and comfortable talking with guests as you help them through the valet check-in process. Providing excellent guest service is necessary!
  • You will also need to run, stand for prolonged periods of time, and go up and down stairs within parking garages.
  • You will be working outside in all kinds of weather.

The Ability to Work Any Schedule or Shift is Crucial:

  • You will be assigned an initial schedule to meet our needs at the Hotel property. These schedules will be during our busiest times to ensure higher tips and less work hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes proactively greeting each guest.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Follow established dress code and hygiene guidelines; including being properly identified.
  • Maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, and environmental control
  • Prepare and maintain accurate guest service logs and other required data.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals.
  • Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Keep work areas clean of debris.
  • Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training and certifications.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Help move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing over 75 pounds.
  • Alert appropriate personnel if suspicious activity is noticed during the regular course of duty or of any unsafe driving conditions.


Education & Experience:

  • Ability to run up and down multiple levels of stairs.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and occasionally run.
  • Proficiency in English; verbally and written.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and crouching.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
